Hotel door image practice

Quick practice, black and grey womans face. Needs a lot more work but im just trying to get the theme right at the moment!

As we plan the storyline of our project, we have also been looking into the stylisation of the overall sequence. We've decided on incorporating a 'comic book' theme.

This trailer was shown to us by a lecturer that thought the mixture of 2D motion graphical content and 3D content may be useful for us to look into. Instead of modelling 3D characters, an alternative could be to use the motion capture suit.

I made some pictures on photoshop of the type of imagery we want to use in our sequence, ive tried out different colours and pictures with varying expressions. As soon as the story for our final sequence is finalised, and the colour scheme and theme is set, I will produce some more practice images...

 

The 'Last goodbye' clip has the above image in it, this is the style we want out project to take on. The 2D background shows layers of simple yet effective imagery, which makes the silhouetted image so much more impressive.
